First off, I am probably a tough customer when it comes to candles. I am a devotee of Yankee and Wood Wick Candles. This candle is OK when compared to that standard.It is not very large so it will really only scent a small to medium room. The throw will not be good enough to give your whole house the scent. I really liked the Lavender Vanilla scent and could see it being perfect to put in a bathroom when people are visiting. I enjoyed it sitting on my desk. I could hear the crackling of the wick. Unfortunately the scent was wonderful the first time I burned it but then it disappeared during the second time I burned the candle. (I did not burn the candle for an extended time.) I can no longer smell the scent like I could when I first opened it. Now I just smell soy wax burning.Because it is a soy wax it burns clean, no black soot.Can't say I understand their lid. It looks like it should screw on tight but it doesn't. I can just lift it right off.The price is rather high for the size of the candle (I can buy a medium Yankee candle for less and even a large if it is on sale.)The candle is exactly what I wanted. I bought it for myself because i stuff my own stocking forChristmas since the kids can’t obviously and in our house hold santa only stuffs the stockings nothing else.The scent is amazing! It is not to big, but also not overly small. The visual looks is modern, yet rustic in a way. It would fit in at any house hold.I will buy again for either myself or someone else….probably myself.Well worth the money to support a small business with reasonable priced products!For a wood wick candle this is a huge disappointment! It stinks and the wick refuses to stay lit! Also it’s pretty small for the price!Absolutely love this candle! Smells amazing!Not gonna lie, I watched this thing like a hawk for awhile because I was too scared to leave it unattended. It has wooden wicks and while I understand that it gives the candle a more appealing and interesting look, I don’t think it was the best choice. The wood wicks, once lit, sent up little baby embers and I was scared something was going to catch on fire. It almost sounds like a crackling fire when you light this, which is cool, but I would only light this thing outside. I received the lavender/vanilla scent and I wasn’t too impressed with it. The candle wasn’t my favorite and doesn’t compare to the bigger candle companies in my opinion. I’m sure other people would like these but they weren’t for me.This is a nice candle and seems to last a while. I like that it is soy and burns clean. The Lavender Vanilla scent is pleasant. However, it triggers a bit of a headache for me. If you are sensitive to scents this one might be a problem. That makes me sad because it's a nice aroma. And it was a bit of a surprise because aromatherapy candles usually don't do that to me. The jar it is in is nice and seems sturdy. The price for the size seems a little too expensive. I realize this is a small US business creating hand-crafted small batch products and I want to support that. But I still can't justify paying nearly $25 (at the time of this writing) for a small candle.The purpose of the wooden wick is possibly for a more reliable light. I do think that it seemed easier to light than a cotton wick and burned more evenly. After an hour, there was no depression in the middle. The remaining wax was flat. That avoids the problem so many candles have with the liquid pooling in the middle and extinguishing the candle. The scent came across strongly, with a true scent of lavender and vanilla. For some reason, the screw top to the candle jar doesn't fit the jar properly so it won't screw closed.This soy candle is a lovely mix of lavender and vanilla aromas that is also all natural. This is a wood wicked, which means it makes a crackling sound perfect for fall or winter. This would make a lovely gift for a grandmother or housewarming. The size of the candle is also a little over a cup, so it should last for a while depending on daily use.Cheap product with a weak scent.
