I Hate Pop started as an Industrial/Gothic side project in 2008. As songs were being released among friends and websites, I started to obtain a following and people liked the music saying that I should release a CD. So here we are, over 2 years later with over 15 tracks completed and over 8000 fans total on my websites. Our debut CD, 'Wicked Songs For Wicked People' is due to be released 04/12/2011 on Bunnies on Acid Productions. The CD has 10 tracks & covers a pretty wide range of Industrial/Gothic sounds from hard core Industrial to slow Electronic sounds to driving in your face Metal sounds. Some songs like 'I Hate All You Motherfuckers' sport a death metal voice and roll right over you like something out of The Road Warrior and some tracks like 'Slave' have an incredible female singer that touch the 80's synth pop genre. The CD contains 2 cover songs, a remake of 'Whip It' by Devo and a remake of 'Fuel My Fire' by L7 & The Prodigy. We will be going back into the studio in May of 2011 to start our second release.
