Just WOW! Wicked Favor is wicked hot! I loved this book! Where have you been hiding, Sawyer Bennett, and why haven't I heard of you until now? Apparently, I've been living under a rock! lol... This may have been my first time reading the work of Sawyer Bennett but it certainly won't be my last! There was so much I enjoyed about Wicked Favor. It's impossible to choose a favorite component. The story was well written and perfectly paced; the conflict was engaging and realistic; the characters were well developed and relatable, and the resolution was most satisfying. I adored the two protagonists, handsome, successful and extremely dominant Jerico Jameson and beautiful, independent, and somewhat naive Trista Barnes. Their interaction in every scene was absolutely mesmerizing, not to mention smokin' hot. Initially, these two unlikely lovers seemed to be complete opposites but had more in common than either realized. Jerico was a former Marine from New Hampshire who now owned a successful security and protection company. Oh, and he also owned a very successful sex club in Vegas! Jerico Jameson was living the good life, success, plenty of money, a different woman every night, and lots and lots of sex. Yup, he had it all - except love, which he never wanted again. One betrayal was more than enough for him - until Vegas native Trista Barnes waltzes into his club, bringing with her a painful blast from the past. My heart just ached for both of these characters. Did I like Wicked Favor? I think I've already answered that question but just to be clear, I loved it! Would I recommend it? You bet but only for adult readers since it does contain a dirty talking alpha hero, slight elements of BDSM, and quite a few steamy sex scenes, sometimes with multiple partners. Will I read this author again? Absolutely! As a matter of fact, I raced back to Amazon to purchase Kynan's story, Code Name: Genesis, the first book in the Jameson Force Security Series. And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read.
