This is the album that Dokken probably should have written after the Dysfunctional and Shadowlife reunions. Without question the album has that melodic rock sound that Dokken was known for but what do you expect from two former, original Dokken veterans. The difference is this album has a slightly harder edge. The lead title "Breath & a Scream," should have exploded all over mainstream radio but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much interest these days in the on and off again reappearances of Dokken members even if this is a GREAT album. I gave this album five stars because I have found myself listening to it over and over. Buy it. You won't be disappointed if you are a Lynch/Pilson fan!
