Try them.I was going to buy this candle for the my living room, and I chooses Lavender because it should smell fresh and comforting so it can help to freshen the air for my living room. When I received this candle, the appearance of the candle is beautiful, but to my great disappointment, the jar was scratched, and the smell was so WEAK that I could not even smell it. That’s not what I expected it!!I don't like this scent, it smells not good, I would give 1 start on it.The candle itself is okay. Shape, style, design. Just the smell, I couldn't accept.Overall, the burn time seems accurate-ish and it's an attractive looking candle. When burned, the scent is very strong - maybe too strong for me as after a couple of hours it gives me a headache and irritates my throat, I may be sensitive about whatever the fragrance ingredients are. With a candle warmer, the scent was oddly very weak though, I had to be right on top of it practically, to smell anything. So if you don't like to actually burn your candles, I can't recommend this one. I've used it in a smaller room in a area with less breeze, so it could be that some people are getting less scent and a faster burn under different conditions.The fragrance is leaning masculine but I like masculine & unisex scents sometimes so I like it. I am less fond of the wood wick, I would be careful where you put this, as really tiny little wood embers tend to go flying off the candle as it burns. Don't leave it unattended, just in case. Despite loving candles for many years, I've never used a wood wick before and I'm not sure I like them. But generally this is a high quality candle and would make a nice gift.
