What a treasure! I read a book, about every 2 days, thts a lot! I treasure when I run across a wickedly charming story, like this one... It is utterly amazing. What a man! Lord Dashiell has such charisma, I can understand why the woman are so desirous for him. Such boyish charm. Not understanding what drives him, only living for the moment. Once he meets Vivenne, he feels a sort of kindred spirit, that grows over time. Feeling a sense of brotherly, protective love for her, til one day...she is no longer that little girl, but a beautiful woman. He's not quite sure how to deal with his feelings. Well, he has learned through his life experiences, and troubles, to run away and not deal with problems.but, there comes a time when you just can't keep running and you have to face the consequences. And his Grandfather, who has brief moments with senility, just adds to his devilish personality. They are 2 peas in a pod, infamous for, constantly getting into some trouble. Always carousing about the town and world, looking for something, but not sure what it is. This equals, hilarious! The chemistry with all the characters, is wonderful. This is an amazing, warm, romantic, laugh out loud, mystery of a story that leaves you wanting more. It is one of the best! Very well written and structured. The flow is perfect. After reading such a perfect story, I almost feel a sense of loss, because I have to leave my new friends and move on. Never to know them again. So back to searching for the next amazing story, that pushes my emotions to the brink. I feel like we just broke up! ;-)
