I was lucky enough to receive an arc of this book and I could not put this book down! It does end on a cliffy so be prepared!First the tropes got me, arranged marriage, mafia romance, age gap, dark romance say no more I'm hooked!Going into this book made me very nervous after reading a specific trigger warning(I'm not into bdsm so i don't typically read books with that trigger warning), but after reading Wicked Angel I can confidently say there was no part that me uncomfortable and I'm glad I stepped out of my reading comfort zone to try this one on for size.There was definitely a good amount of spice ? ? . The spice was sprinkled throughout the book so I was never bored. There was some thigh clenching happening with Gavens dirty mouth for sure.From the very beginning I had a strong distaste of Angel's sister and by the end I hated that c-u-next-tuesday!Angel tried to fight against Gaven the whole time, even though she secretly wanted him, I was soo happy when she finally gave in. Gaven never drifted from his protector mode and stayed true to his baser instincts touch her and die (my favorite type of anti-hero)I look forward to the next book and can't wait to see what happensI was so so so happy to see a little smidgen of a glance of Eastpoint hope we can see more it in the next books. (Eastpoint and the sick boys are my favs)
