3.5 - I liked the premise of this book and I was immediately reminded of The Poppy War series. It covers important topics around colonialism and prejudice/discrimination. Priya was an interesting main character and there were some good side characters like Kwasi, but I found the romance aspect lacking and it might have even been better without it. This book has recently been translated from Dutch.
