Movie had an interesting plot about the violence which resulted from a family drug culture. Abigail Breslin gave an excellent portrayal of the one young member who brought extreme measures to overcome her disenfranchised childhood for a better life. Sean Bean, as always, was excellent in his role as the troubled head of the family and James Purefoy was surprising in this different kind of role for him. Also I really loved the "chess terms" narrated poetry throughout the action.
