Product Description

Formed in 2002, Tip the Van is a rockin' female fronted ska, pop, reggae, rock, anything-goes band from central Connecticut. Main influences include RX Bandits, Dance Hall Crashers, The Slackers, The Mad Caddies, Save Ferris, Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, and many more. Tip the Van has been described as having a unique sound, tight hornlines, and an irrestistable danceable groove. Tip the Van has played small local hall shows, to larger local venues (such as the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT and the Empress Ballroom in Danbury, CT) and played this summer the Vans Warped Tour 2005, their biggest mini-tour to date. Tip the Van has played with many noteworthy bands including Less Than Jake, Alkaline Trio, Against Me!, The English Beat, RX Bandits, MU330, Big D and the Kids Table, The Toasters, The Pietasters, The Slackers, Streelight Manifesto, Catch 22, The Voodoo Glowskulls, and Mustard Plug, as well as numerous local favorites. Be sure to check out the band on The Gritty in Pink stage on the Vans Warped Tour 2006 on the majority of the east coast dates!!
